Prior to joining Westwood Creative Artists in 2025, I spent five years at Penguin Random House Canada, and two years at Aitken Alexander Associates as an assistant. Before that, I started my publishing career interning at Andrew Nurnberg Associates and Profile Books. I have edited for Hazlitt, and am on the editorial board of ROOM Magazine. I am interested in a wide range of writing and represent both fiction and non-fiction.
Fiction: While a generalist, I am drawn to novels that tackle human complexity, thoughtful world-building, strong emotional resonance, and honed voices. I love novels with teeth that make me feel viscerally—either grounded or unsettled—and nuanced characters that feel both fresh and challenging. I am specifically looking for:
- Upmarket and literary fiction: Bring me bold concepts, emotionally grounded narratives, and diverse protagonists. I love heists and stories based on true events.
- Horror with a feminist lean: I love body horror and unsettling atmospheres. Feminist and BIPOC horror to the front.
- Thriller and Suspense: Atmospheric and psychological.
- Mystery: Would love to find a commercial cozy series for a Gen Z audience
- Historical fiction: Non-Western only. I love multi-generational stories.
- Fantasy and Romantasy: Seeking commercial, strong world-building, and diverse mythology. I love competitions. If there’s spice, make it spicy.
- Sci-Fi: Commercial premises with strong, plucky protagonists.
- Speculative: Bring me upmarket, grounded narratives with intriguing concepts and a strong voice.
- Romance: Looking for commercial and upmarket romance with BIPOC and/or 2SLGBTQ+ protagonists set within a concept-driven plot.
I am not the right agent for: board books, middle grade, WWII novels, anything with muskets, sports themes. *I take on very little YA

Li, Ali Hazelwood, Nisha J Tuli, R.F. Kuang, Sara Peters, Daisy Johnson, and Yaa Gyasi.
Non-fiction: I am interested in expert-driven writing focused on universal topics that teach us something, challenge us, invoke obsession or empathy. For me it is the balance of an authoritative voice with accessibility. Particularly books that explore complex, often systemic issues—from politics to psychology to culture—told from a personal or human-centered lens. Please connect with me if you are an expert with a strong voice and an idea to share. I am happy to chat with writers who are at the beginning stages of forming an idea to craft a proposal together. I am looking for:
- Journalism and Essays: Social commentary, pop culture, politics, philosophy, arts, tech, and media.
- Expert-driven: Medicine, mental health, sex and relationships, money, tech, business, and more.
- Non-Western History: I would love to hear from historians and journalists who have a well-researched history to bring to the mainstream, whether it’s reexamining history we’re acquainted with or a great story most of us haven’t heard.
- Celebrity Memoir: I would love to help you craft a compelling proposal to tell your story.
I am not the right agent for: Western-lens History, personal memoir.
